Ok, so I know that I am trying to lose 10 lbs, but eating mac and cheese every once in a while doesn't hurt, right?
Especially when it's dairy free mac and cheese that tastes just like the real thing. I mean, it's reeeaaaally hard to find a decent tasting cheese flavored anything when you're vegan. But this. This is different.
The main reason why it tastes so good is because of the non-dairy cheese which is made from cashews. It's creamy, it's rich, and it's better for you than actual cheese.
It comes with a package similar to Velveeta, so you don't have to worry about any cheese powder. Just heat on the stove and serve.
The fun is at the end when you can start to add toppings and other ingredients. I sprinkled the top with nutritional yeast, paprika, and pepper.
Then I got crazy and added sliced avocado for even more added protein.
